Most people do not like or want to vote for Rod, but with Judy you are not given much choice. The conservative Rep split the primary ticket splitting the conservative vote, leaving us with the liberal Judy, not much of choice between Rod and Judy.

Well as an ILL member of the VRWC, I have to agree with these folks about Judy, But to be honest with you she will get my vote because I think Rod needs to be stopped, or should I say Mayor of chicago needs to be stopped and if Judy is the only tool I have to pry Chicago Politicians and Springfield apart then by god I am going to use it...
Besides I am sick of the Bloggo and Mel comady hour.
Then I have 4 years to work to get someone better in a position to run against Judy on the republican side.

Blago will lose, regardless of the current polls. He is a complete clown, and the people--even Democrats--are slowly coming to that conclusion. There are investigators crawling all over his offices, giant leaks in the state budget and then there's Rod himself, a living Chauncey Gardner. An idiot savant. Except for the savant part.

In Judy, the Republicans could not have nominated a more divisive candidate.
She won't get much in the way of Democratic crossover votes and having forced Jack Ryan from the 2004 Senate race, she'll lose, simply because many Republicans (like me) will never forgive her.
I've never sat out a race in my life, but I won't vote for either of these two losers.

Topinka's just creepy, and not particularly different from Blago. They're both NU alums, so my alma mater's got the governorship sewn up for another 4 years either way.
If I had to pick (and I do), I pick Chicagoan Blago over suburban Topinka just to stick it to the suburbs. Live in the city. ;-)

The only advantage I see Judy having over Rob (or any democrat, for that matter) is that she is at least campaigning on fiscal responsibility. Rod's done nothing but attempt to play Santa for the last several months.
