Allen has to demonstrate that he is not using Virginia as a stepping stone to a permanent place in DC as President, and he will be able to defeat Webb. If Webb can plant seeds of doubt about Allen's intentions or identify with Virginians better, it might be closer, but Allen seems to be the juggernaut here.

Webb will probably carry the same cities and precincts that went for Kerry in 2004. The red state majority of Virginians will back Allen. Although Allen is our junior Senator, he is a far stronger conservative than our senior RINO Senator John Warner.
