2006 Pennsylvania Governor Race

As I have been arguing for months, Lynn Swann has the potential to do much better in the Philadelphia suburbs than his Republican counterpart in 2002. This article explains why the potential is there, and what Swann has to do.

As you recently posted, Swann has just completed a campaign swing through the burbs AND Philly proper.

With the decline of union votes in Pittsburgh and environs, Democratic hopes in statewide PA races has come down to Philly and its suburbs. If they can perform respectably in the burbs, and not get caught faking the city returns, they can win. Otherwise, they won't.
