Texas 23rd Congressional District

After the courts injected themselves into the redistricting process in Texas, Congressman Henry Bonilla, one of the GOP's rising stars, will face a tougher than expected re-election battle. The map was redrawn, and will have an impact on a few districts:

Texas 23rd: Henry Bonilla's district will see it's Latino percentage increase from 51% to 61%. It'll give Bonilla a tough race, but he should still be able to pull it off, provided that he is well funded.

Texas 28th: Moderate Henry Cuellar will likely not see that tough of a race, as his district appears to be safe for him.

Texas 25th: Liberal Congressman Lloyd Doggett will dodge a bullet, as his district is made more compact, and he is no longer in danger of facing a Latino canidate in the Democratic Primary.
