I don't see why the analysts haven't had this rated a bit stronger for Davis - they all say "Lean Republican." He's the incumbent, and the district is basically outlying suburbs of Cincinnati, which I always considered a pretty conservative area.
Maybe Lucas' own record carries a lot of credibility in the district?
This is exactly the type of district I think would only fall to the Democrats in a landslide year - which I don't believe this is.

Well, Lucas isn't a moonbat, and were he from any other state on the right or left coasts, he'd be a Republican. Problem is, bouncing out a GOP incumbent in favor of a nearly 74-year old freshman 'Rat, of whom isn't even in step with the hard-left bulk of the party, in which he has zero chance of amassing seniority and becoming a committee chairman, isn't very smart.
