If you aren't familiar with the anti-American radical group "United for Peace and Justice," just take a look at how they plan to celebrate the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. These are people who were considered a "communist front group" until the fall of the Soviet Empire. For them, the dream lives on.
For them, and apparently, for Democratic Rep. John Murtha, decorated Vietnam War veteran, long-time House incumbent, and recent convert to anti-American groupthink from the links of UFPJ and Code Pink. Over at Murtha Must Go!, Gary Gross asks the tough questions:
* Why would John Murtha oppose renewing the Patriot Act? The thought of not giving these tools to law enforcement is unimaginable. The thought of rebuilding the Gorelick Wall, which legally prevented Able Danger from telling the FBI about Mohammed Atta, should scare every American.
* How much influence does UFPJ have on John Murtha? To those who are looking, it appears as though they wield alot of influence on him.
* Doesn't John Murtha care that UFPJ is using his words to brand these Marines as war criminals?
The people of southwest Pennsylvania, especially active duty and reservist military personnel, have a right to know why John Murtha is fighting a daily battle against their causes.
Read it all at link above.
If you have the stomach for it, of course. I almost feel embarassment for Murtha. His vile behavior in recent months can only be explained by advancing dementia or a severe head injury.
Watch here for news of the planned "Boot Murtha!" rally in the heart of the district, Johnstown, PA, October 1st.

As an active duty Soldier myself, I continue to find myself in awe at the comments of a former servicemember, especially a Marine. Not once has Murthafocker taken the high road and apologized for jumping the gun on his condemnation of fellow Marines. Not once has he clarified to those anti-military groups using his comments ad nauseum that they weren't intended the way they're being used. Murthafocker is a disgrace to the political profession. He has failed to serve this country and stained his honorable military service as a Marine. I won't take that away from him...but, it's all I'll give him.
I look forward to his inevitable defeat. Only then will those Marines be villified, guilty or not.

Has anyone gotten any medical records on this relentlessly vapid creature? I'm willing to bet he's down at least a pint on brain cells!

I'm really a glutton for punishment because I actually went to the UFPJ site.
Here one the planned ceromonies that caught my attention:
'Hailed as "powerful" and "quietly unflinching," this searing, 78-minute documentary feature includes exclusive footage that will stir you.'
So I'm thinking, wow, they must have some interesting stuff about 911. Then I remembered these are LIBERALS and then I read the next line:
'The terrible conflict in Iraq, depicted with ferocious honesty in the film, is a prelude for the even more challenging battles fought by the soldiers returning home – with personal demons, an uncomprehending public, and an indifferent government.'
At least they didn't let me down. But in a nutshell you have the liberal viewpoint: 911 wasn't the real tragedy, the war in Iraq is. It really is sad to see mass insanity like this.
I also liked this one:
"An American Framing Workshop offered by… The Metaphor Project: Framing Our Message for Americans. Participants in this workshop will learn effective ways to frame their messages for mainstream American audiences. Familiar American sayings, images or ideas like “the clean air generation”, “real patriots pay their fair share (of taxes)”, “keep space open space” and “play fair” evoke our best shared national values. We will combine these ideas with our own messages to produce powerful new sound portraits--the kind of language that creates common ground, opens up dialogue, and helps change minds."
Keep space open space???? Must be talking about their own brains because there's nothing in most of them except open space. Everything is slogans to these moonbats.
this is my favorite one though:
"Join us for an evening of reflection and unity through Yoga and Meditation. With love and devotion we will celebrate the lives lost in 9/11. $15 fee to be donated to Peaceful Tomorrows."
With love, devotion, and YOUR MONEY we will celebrate. LOL.
