2006 Maryland Senate Race

According to a new SurveyUSA poll, Kweisi Mfume leads Ben Cardin by four points. That conflicts with a poll released this morning that showed Cardin with a wide lead. Republicans would be well advised to spend the days until the primary stocking their warchest and enjoying the spectacle.

I believe Republican Lt. Go... (Below threshold)

I believe Republican Lt. Gov. Michael Steele already has $3 million on hand - his primary opposition isn't serious - and that was reported BEFORE Russell Simmons held a fundraiser for him.

It's probably safe to say no one has a clue what is really happening in the Cardin-Mfume contest. Both camps should be approaching Rales, the trailing third-place candidate, about an endorsement.

Too bad the primary is in less than two weeks now. Nothing like a tight, hotly contested primary to make candidates' supporters really dislike the other guy, and not turn out if their man loses. It could go on and on and on . . .

Heh.
