Michigan Governor - Poll shows tight race

The Associated Press reports:

In the poll of 803 likely voters by Selzer & Co. of Des Moines, Iowa, 46 percent of voters said they'd back Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm if the election were held today, while 44 percent would back Republican challenger Dick DeVos and 10 percent were undecided.

Read the whole story at link above.

Not counting this poll, RealClearPolitics' average of the three most recent polls had Granholm up 4.0%, and this result will actually increase that to +4.7%, because the oldest included poll had the race even.

RCP and CQ Politics rate this contest as a "toss-up."
