2006 New Jersey Senate Race

A new Quinnipiac Poll reports that Tom Kean, Jr. is leading Bob Menendez 48% to 45% among likely voters. The internals of the poll indicate that Kean has done what recent Republicans in New Jersey have failed to do - namely, to win the support of crucial suburban voters. This remains the single best chance for Republicans to pick up a Democratic seat in November.
