It appears that liberal Washington Senator Maria Cantwell tried to buy off her Green Party opponent. Hopefully the main stream media will report on this. I fully expect this to be the lead headline on the CBS Evening news.

If I remember correctly, there was another Democratic primary opponent besides Wilson who dropped out early. I heard there was some "arrangement" there, too - the guy may not have gone onto the payroll, but his campaign debts were paid off.
Kudos to Dixon, the Green Party candidate, for saying "NO!" Of course, I am 100% against his anti-US views, but I respect anyone who will put principles over cash.
