2006 Pennsylvania Governor Race

Interestingly, the tax cut plan of Lynn Swann has become the issue of the Gubernatorial campaign between Swann and Democratic incumbent Ed Rendell.

Given the fact that Swann essentially swept the floor with Rendell in last week's debate, the next polls on this race will hopefully show some movement in the Republican's direction.

As I wrote here, If you needed proof that Rendell knows that he tanked Wednesday night's debate with Lynn Swann, look no further. In a sitdown interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Rendell is suddenly talking like a reformer.

Frankly, Rendell's in trouble because he looked like your typical angry liberal rather than an old political pro with total command of the issues.
