I'm not ready to sign onto any poll which has a "Zogby" connection, but a 53% showing for a pro-war candidate in dark blue Connecticut isn't bad, no matter who took the poll.
Lamont is an example of rich guys running for office as an ego boost. Being anti-American, he attracted great support among the national "Nutroots" network and won the primary. When it comes time to vote for a Senator, though, his moonbat pals live mostly out of state.
