Many readers may be missing our enhanced coverage on most topics.
It's called the "Comments." There is a link at the bottom of every post: it says "Show comments here" if comments have been added. Just click it to read them and add your own. If no comments have yet been posted, there is a little "speech balloon" icon in the bottom row, between the page icon and the pawprint. Click that to add the first comment.
Now, it's true we do attract the occasional maladjusted moonbat moron. Feel free to ignore them. For the most part, you will find some excellent input from readers in the comments section. Often they help us by correcting errors or pointing us to additional information. Fuller discussions develop. Frequently a reader actually lives in the state or congressional district we're reporting on, and they can add a direct, on-the-ground view we couldn't get elsewhere.
We appreciate our commenters, and encourage others to contribute as well.
It only takes one click of the mouse to access this additional trove of information. Let's face it: if you were going to get carpal tunnel syndrome from clicking your mouse, you'd already have it by now.
Enjoy.

I have been a bit doen on RCP recently, since they seem to be either rooting for a GOP loss or excessively gloomy. But, this post nails it.

"Now, it's true we do attract the occasional maladjusted moonbat moron."
That is the biggest understatement of the year. I can't stand reading the comments on this site anymore. *Every* post contains moronic moonbat drivel in the comments section on the main page. I'm reading this site less and less because of it.

I trust those 2 comments were addressing RCP. Wizbang is solid as ever.

Tom, I understand your revulsion at the despicable leftist idiots, but consider: don't you think most normal, civilized people share your reaction?
There is no better way to convince the public of what the left really is than to let them speak for themselves.
The truly sad part is they think they are being clever or something . . .
Don't let the gutter garbage keep you from accessing the valuable contributions many readers make.

I would hope most normal, civilized people have the same reaction, and you're right, they can and should speak for themselves. But...
There's been so much negative gutter garbage lately that I avoid it to keep my frustration level down. It's like reading DU or Kos.
Maybe I'll wait until after November 7 to start reading the comments again. Then again, there could be gloating... ;-)
