NC Congressional Candidate On That CNN Sniper Video

The Adventures of Chester has posted this video from NC 4th congressional district candidate Steve Acuff.

Here is Chester's description of the video: "he denounces CNN for showing an insurgent snuff film, calls for their investigation, and describes their behavior as treasonous...having met the man, let me say that this is the most angry I've ever seen him. Don't get me wrong. He's still got his emotions in check. But the degree to which he's upset about this issue clearly shows. Also, the film doesn't even mention his opponent. In fact, it's not really even a political commercial, in a certain sense."

I wish all of those in Congress felt the same way as Steve Acuff. My favorite part of the video was when he said CNN wanted to understand the enemy. He said, "I don't want to understand him, I want to kill him." He later said that we are at war -- the enemy is acting like it and we should be, too. What a novel concept.

I forgot to identify Acuff's party affiliation. I don't really need to though, do I?

Barry Rogers:

Thanks for sharing this Lorie. As a lifelong civilian, I was outraged by CNN. Col. Acuff expressed my outrage in a very compelling, tempered manner.
