New Mexico 1st CD - Madrid: pay me for access

Despite the widespread talk about NM-1 being a prime takeover target for Democrats, despite the huge sums coming in from outside (on both sides), despite the polls showing Democratic nominee Attorney General Patricia Madrid leading Republican incumbent Rep. Heather Wilson, even Democratic operatives admit Wilson has put on a huge surge in the latter days. She has cleaned Madrid's clock in debates, using clips for very effective TV ads.

Here is such a clip. The question was about taking money from lobbyists:



Of course, Democrats see nothing wrong with Madrid, her answer, or her conduct in office. Then they dare use terms like "Culture of Corruption" . . .

I saw the last debate on c-span. Madrid was really terrible. She could not answer almost any question. How can Rs vote for such people? Same thing in Pennsylvania with Casey. Just dreadful.
