2006 Pennsylvania Senate Race

I am going to have a more in-depth analysis on this one later, but a new Morning Call poll has Rick Santorum cutting the gap in Pennsylvania to 8 points. This squarely places this race in the 8 to 10 point range.

This is no longer a double-digit race, as Santorum seems to have finally broken through Casey's formerly solid 14 to 15 point lead.

Note: This poll previously had the race at 5 points, so it is actually an improvement for Casey. However, I am putting in the context of other recently released polls.

Sorry that this is off topic, but you have to see this... Jim Geraghty - "I'm sorry, did the New York Times just put on the front page that IRAQ HAD A NUCLEAR WEAPONS PROGRAM AND WAS PLOTTING TO BUILD AN ATOMIC BOMB?"

I've been predicting in several places around Wizbang.

PA: Republican Hold
MT: Republican Hold

I'm praying Santorum can come back. I'm not giving up on Ohio either. I hope Michigan or Washington come into play. I'm on the ground in Maryland. Steele has the mo and his black vote is going to surprise everyone. Ehrlich (who has never lost an election)is going to win. Prince George, Anne Arundel and Balto.County are the keys. Liberal New Jersey and Rhode Island are probably lost causes. But I'll trade Lincoln Chafee and Keane for Steele and Bouchard anyday.
