Yeah being from ohio it's just sad. She never had a chance. I've not seen ONE ad from her - everything is negative and just ties her to Ney, et al. I keep waiting for the attack ad about HER - but never fear, the DNC will not do that (there's nothing there). All the ads are about linking her to others.
Same thing with Blackwell - and that race is just pissing me off - a perfectly good candidate getting killed b/c taft and his cronies are @#$(*$!

Amen Rob,
Although I'm not in Ohio, it seems that Ney's seat never should have been at risk, if he had just stepped up to the plate and resigned when he entered his plea as the White House had called on him to do. Or even better yet, when he decided to pull out of the race. That would have atleast given Joy Padgett, a very good candidate I'm told, a fighting chance to hold the seat. As for Taft, I can only imagine the anger and rage Ohio Republicans, especially conservatives must have for him. Again, he should have stepped down once his legal problems began. No way does Ken Blackwell deserve to be in the spot he's in, locing to an empty suit like Ted Strickland. I hope there will be some major housecleaning among the Ohio GOP after Tuesday.

Ken,
Thanks for the comments. As for Blackwell it seems to me he's been thrown under the bus by the taft establishment, they wanted their candidate in place in the primary and once blackwell got in they've sat on their hands. It's reprehensible. All the chamber of commerce GOPers are dead to me, they've let an amazing candidate (think Steele) down here in Ohio. I hope he's able to find an outlet so he can continue a political career....but man it seems this party just wants to die here in OH

I think you just need to clean out the remnants of Taft's machine, which are all tainted. Fish rot from the head.
Once the exorcism is complete, the Ohio GOP will rise again, helped by the utter bankruptcy of the Democratic Party.
