Republican Representative Dave Reichert has defeated Darcy Burner in Washington's 8th district (Seattle P-I). Some may recall that Burner's campaign was the one that used Michael Yon's famous Iraq photo without permission.

You don't say which party either belongs to, but let me just say that I'm glad Burner lost. That stealing of Yon's photo was more than enough to scuttle anyone's campaign -- and rightfully so.
