God bless Kos. You nits don't hold a candle to him. Your rant is actually funnier. No doubt you're jealous.

What's sad is that this fool thinks he can start a "war" with the Clintonoids like Carville and win. He doesn't realize what he's in for with that one.
But, given the Warner debacle earlier this year, KOS has show his willingness to bend his principles if enough cash comes his way. I suspect a posting sometime in 2007 that Hillary! is actually OK.

KOS has proven he's in it only for the money and suckering the weak minds of the left has brought him a lot of money. He would change his politics in a flash if someone offered him more $ to rant for the republicans.
Nothing there but a paid shill, or what was once called a carnival barker, only 25c come see the naked ladies and the two headed horse.
But he does make a good hero for people like Hugh. Poor thing.

Actually, there's no excuse in this day and age for not having picture ID for voting, a national database for ensuring ONE vote per person by cross-checking ALL precincts for Federal offices, and a fool-proof voting system like THIS one.
Oh, and BTW, click on my handle:

Does anyone know the accuracy rate of ATM machines? I've never gone to an ATM, tried to withdraw $40 in cash and deposit a check for $317 and ended up with $800 in nickels and a $0.37 deposit. And I get a receipt every single time saying what I did without printing a unique identifier.
How frigging hard can it be? These reports from some places about pressing one person's name and having the other light up, etc. (due to crappy machines, not malfeasance) is ridiculous.

Considering how much money we throw away - this is an area I think Congress should spend the money on, one-time, and eliminate all this nonsense.
My precinct had electronic voting - and when you finish a paper copy of your entire vote is printed as well, behind glass - so you don't take it with you. If there is a problem with the computers, or someone like Kos wants to challenge then the paper trail is right there. You don't leave the booth until the paper trail is printed, and it is large enough to verify by eye if in fact what was printed is what you voted for (and it always has been in the last few elections)
The technology is there - lets just get it done

I posted this on another thread before I found this more appropriate one so I apologize for the double post.
Last week when I suggested that although the Dems won the election the Repubs still hacked votes using the Diebold machines, I was called a moon bat.
In other words if the Diebold machines would have counted the votes properly the Dem's margin of victory would have been even larger. It seems that the Repubs miscalculated the margins needed to squeak out a win and did not program the memory cards correctly to steal the right percentages.
Remember, Diebold and other electronic vote counting machines are privatively owned companies with many political and financial ties to the GOP and still will not release their source codes to any governmental bodies.
I have a couple of questions for the conservatives on this sight.
Check out the link and tell me if you can find any factual errors in the report. I'm serious, I would like to know what you guys think about this issue. I'm not interested in name calling, I just want to see if this is a legitimate concern of conservatives. Would you think differently about the article if it were the Dems who were hacking the vote? I'm also well aware of past transgressions in vote manipulation by the Dems (JFK comes to mind) and the tactics they still use today, I just want to know what you think of this vote hacking issue.
Another couple of things I'm curious about. Would you and your political party support legislation requiring a paper trail for all elections even if it meant less victories at the ballot box? Should vote manipulation crimes be elevated to a crime of treason?
I'll check back in a few hours to see if anyone has some views on this.

Live@9's link purports to have "clear evidence" that the voting machines were rigged. I don't think that phrase means what they think it means.
From what I read, the "evidence" consists of
1) voting results did not match the raw exit polls
2) it is possible that voting machines can be rigged
3) Diebold and other machine companies are owned and staffed by partisan Republicans
That's it. That is the clear evidence that proves the vote was rigged.
Regarding 1), I find it naive to believe that exit polling is inherently more accurate than counting votes. Not only can one not be sure the respondents are exactly representative of the voters (there's plenty of reason to suspect otherwise), but there the safeguards against manipulating exit polls are minimal. These investigating groups put a great deal of faith in these exit polls, and this is a huge weakness in their "evidence" - you cannot use faith as evidence of a crime.
Regarding 3), it may be true that Diebold is Republican-controlled - or it may not be true, I did not see any evidence to support this claim. I've heard that Diebold's CEO(?) contributed to Republicans, but that's not too damning in and of itself. But the claim of vote-rigging goes much, much further than this - that employees at the company routinely rigged the machines before they left the factory. This is a very serious claim, one that could blow the lid off the controversy. But no evidence is presented at all beyond the idea that it is "possible."
Again, faith is not an adequate substitute for evidence. I'm sure Live sincerely believes all this, but it is a revealed truth, and cannot be seriously accepted as evidence.
