Shocking as the very election of Keith Ellison, a/k/a Keith Hakim, a/k/a Keith X Ellison, a/k/a Keith Ellison-Muhammad, to the House of Representatives from Minnesota's 5th District was, given his history of support for Farrakhan's Nation of Islam and their radical anti-semitic agenda, his support for cop-killers and terrorists, and his personal history of flouting the law, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is assigning Ellison to the Judiciary Committee, of all places. It's the equivalent of assigning Patrick Kennedy to the Sobriety Committee or Dennis Kucinich to the Mental Health Committee. Scott Johnson of Power Line reports:
Any number of items from Rep. Ellison's past ought to have served to disqualify him from being named to the committee. His cavalier approach to compliance with the law -- whether it be federal tax law, or Minnesota campaign finance law, or Minneapolis parking ordinances flouted so frequently that his driver's license has been suspended more times than he can recall -- ought to have ruled him out. His past support for and/or friendship with such murderers, cop-killers and cop killer wannabes as Kathleen Soliah/Sara Jane Olson, Assata Shakur and Sharif Willis ought to have been a dealbreaker all by itself.
Read the whole post at the link above, including John Hinderaker's observations of the media image of Ellison created for the public.
Of course, the Judiciary Committee is being Chaired by career criminal John Conyers, so Ellison-Muhammed should fit right in. Be sure to ask about the free Thanksgiving turkey, Keith!

Any number of things should have keep him and many other democrats from even serving in the congress. I love the way the left keeps pulling the wool over the American sheeps eyes.

Scott's done a great job with Ellison. I have additional worries about Ellison that are far more troubling, which I write about here. It isn't wrong to think of the House Judiciary Committee as CAIR's committee.
