Pawlenty joins McCain team

Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty has agreed to become a National Co-chair of the John McCain Presidential campaign, he told Bill Bennett yesterday, according to Power Line.

Since Pawlenty has been widely mentioned as a potential Presidential or Veep candidate himself, and since he is one of the few Republicans reelected in a blue state in 2006, and since he governs a key Great Lakes state, this is a major coup for the McCain campaign.


There is apparently no basis to the rumor that McCain sent Rudy Guiliani this video taunt, though:
