When I read this news my reaction was whoop-de-doo. No big surprise here.
Democratic Sen. Joe Biden, who has made no secret of his plans to run for president in 2008, says he'll make it official next Wednesday. The 64-year-old Delaware lawmaker said he will file paperwork with the Federal Election Commission and launch a campaign Web site, http://www.joebiden.comWhen I think of Joe Biden, the first thing I think of is the plagiarism thing, then I think of his long-winded lectures that are supposed to be questions delivered during Senate committee hearings. The most amusing and disturbing things I think of, though, when I think of Joe Biden are some things I read at Ankle Biting Pundits about Rosary Joe, the Policy Guy. (I was unable to locate the Rosary Joe post at ABP, but will add the link if I can find it.)He joins a crowded Democratic field dominated thus far by New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama. Other candidates include former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, the 2004 vice presidential nominee; Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, and Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich.
Biden traveled extensively last year to the early voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina and plans another swing through those states soon after launching his presidential committee, his spokesman, Larry Rasky, said.
Recently, as the new chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Biden convened several weeks of high-profile hearings on the Iraq war.

Even if Joe had a brain transplant he'd be almost like Al Gore, but without the charisma.

Democrat presidential rivals need only be quiet and let Joe Biden talk ... and talk ,,, and talk. Eventually, he will sabotage his own candidacy. He can't help it.

But he may have a wheelbarrow load of POOP if he attended the anti-america demonstrations with the rest of the wino's today. The dhimmi's succeed in making themselves look more stupid every day and I thought that was impossible after the past three weeks. I'll admit I was wrong, gladly.

I've listened to Joe Biden blather on and on upon various subjects over the decades, and can only conclude the man is in mad, passionate love with the sound of his own voice. It doesn't matter what he's saying - obviously - as long as he keeps talking.
Biden speeches are today's precise equivalent of the aspiring author whose work Dr. Johnson appraised with: "I found your manuscript to be both good and original. However, that which was good was not original, and that which was original was not good."

If we've got 10 or more Democrat senators blowing off most Senate votes in order to run for president, doesn't that mean the Republicans have a working majority? (So much for Moonbat Pelosi's grand plan.)

Biden has to announce today so his speech will over in time for the Iowa Caucus.
