Vilsack sells used furniture - to Hillary

Out of the Democratic primary campaign, broke, and in debt, the campaign of former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack is selling off whatever it can to help pay the bills. One buyer is Hillary Clinton, whom Vilsack endorsed after dropping out of the race. Jonathan Allen of Congressional Quarterly reports:


How bad was it? According to Federal Election Commission reports, Vilsack had to hawk his office furniture to pay his campaign debts.


The buyer? Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, whose Democratic presidential campaign, fresh off posting $26 million for the quarter, still has use for office furnishings.
