SurveyUSA bogus poll on SC debate

The SurveyUSA poll after the Democratic candidates' debate in South Carolina Thursday is laughable. You need not read beyond the first result"

1 Asked of 1250 adults
Margin of Sampling Error for this question = ± 2.7%

Did you listen to tonight's South Carolina presidential debate?

32% Yes
67% No
0% Not Sure

Sorry, but there is NO WAY 32% of SC "adults" listened to the debate. American Idol WISHES they had such ratings! Maybe the Super Bowl draws such an audience; a political debate on a cable station 21 months before the election never could.

There were more South Carolinians watching cable re-runs than watching the debate. It is beyond question that many of these respondents simply lied about watching, either to pretend to be involved in the process or to be able to hype their own candidate.

That doesn't mean that 32% ... (Below threshold)
Scrapiron:

That doesn't mean that 32% watched the dog and pony show. It means that 32% of the democrats asked the question were willing to lie about it, Nothing else. It's hard to believe that many American democrats are now willing to degrade themselves for politics. Na. lying is now the normal for any democrat.
