It's bad enough the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy has been stalking Hillary Clinton for years. She's been able to resist, of course, because VRWC-ers have other pressing business like starving children and taking away old people's Social Security checks.
Now she is apparently about to be persecuted from the left, as well, as Carl Bernstein (he of Watergate fame) has been writing an unauthorized biography about her for eight years, speaking to over 200 friends, employees, and acquaintances. The pre-publication buzz on the book is that it will expose a number of "discrepancies" between Hillary's accounts of her past and the facts as Bernstein found them.
Read more about the book at Heading Right, the new group site formed by Blog Talk Radio hosts, including Ed Morrissey of Captain's Quarters fame, who theorizes a nagging scandal like this could pave the way for . . . an Al Gore candidacy.
If that doesn't shake up the political reality, it could at least be the basis for a cheesy horror movie.

I hope Mr. Bernstein and his publishers has contingency plans to keep him and his book safe until published. He shouldn't fly in private/chartered planes. He should avoid parks in Washington D.C. and probably stay clear of N.Y and Arkansas just to be safe.
