Survivors of the killer tornadoes from Greensburg, Kansas aren't happy with Democratic Governor Katheleen Sebelius' false claim that there were inadequate National Guardsmen and equipment to deal with the disaster due to Iraq deployments. Gateway Pundit has the story:

"I was told she wanted to run as vice president on the Democratic ticket, and honestly, I wouldn't vote for her if they paid me because of that one thing she said on television right there. It was a political slam is all it was." -Greensburg Resident Mike Swigart told WCBSTV.comLocal residents of Greensburg, Kansas were overwhelmed with the response they got after the devestating tornado blasted through town. They say the governor's fuss is only for her own good!

It was a despicable attempt to gain political capital at the expense of disaster victims, even while the search for survivors was still ongoing.
No doubt, she's the pride of the Democratic Party for trying, though.

Sean Hannity and other Talk Radio pundits had this story on today with a side affair of the Kansas Senator Brownback fouling up his statements on this affair too. Sibelius simply was reading the DNC talking points ala Katrina to get the people of Kansas against Bush and our National Guard deployments ala New Orleans and their female guv, Blanco. The voters in these two states ought to throw those dames out post haste for blatant lying and incompetence.

Will people ever get it through their thick skulls they were conned on the response to Katrina also. The response was actually the largest and fastest in history by the federal government. People at up with the dumb a**es ate every word put out by the now proven liars from the antique MSM. Have they found the bones of all the people that were killed and ate at the Super Dome? Katrina will go down in history as the biggest con job and/or pack of lies ever foisted on the American people by lying politicians and the joke we call the media.
The governor of Ks, Dean, Dirty Harry and a host of democrats just renewed their membership in the slime merchants association of anti-American bigots.
