Desperate to make potential Democratic primary voters forget he is a wealthy, self-indulgent Silky Pony, John Edwards takes to the road to highlight his compassion for the poor. Matthew Bigg reports for Reuters:
Hurting in opinion polls and haunted by charges of lavish personal spending, Democrat John Edwards took his presidential campaign on Monday to some of the most impoverished parts of the country.
With America's poor the crux of his campaign, the former vice presidential candidate launched an eight-state tour in New Orleans, a city that exposed U.S. poverty to a global audience following Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.His focus on poverty challenges his top Democratic rivals, U.S. Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and enables Edwards to present himself as a leader with a cause bigger than his own ambition, analysts said.

Is it possible Democratic voters are so incredibly dumb that they will forget Edwards' $400 - $1200 haircuts, which he routinely billed to the campaign and then blamed his staff for, or his 23,000 square foot mansion just because he runs out and finds some poor people to get his picture taken with?
Never mind.
Say, if any readers happen to catch the tour in their area, grab me a tee-shirt . . .

John Edwards may be a lot of things, but he is THE poster boy for political hypocrisy! It may not be against the law, but John Edwards is a serial hypocrite. Anyone who votes for the "$1200 Haircut Man" is guilty of being ignorant about Edwards' total disregard for the so-called common man.
Yes, Edwards can talk about the Two Americas all he likes, because he knows from personal experience how the high and mighty thrive in America.

How about that Breck Girl? I call that $1200 haircut and raise $100. But even "Mittens" Romney is getting into the act. He's getting a makeover!
