Richardson to target Edwards (Wizbang Politics)

Bill Richardson stopped by the Iowa State Fair, where he had a bigger and more enthusiastic crowd than Sen. John McCain -- who was there right before him. Richardson is on a six day swing through Iowa.

The former New Mexico Governor has been stuck in fourth place in most polls, but he's ready to do something about that. Watch for Richardson to start going after John Edwards -- the man directly ahead of him in the polls.

Source at the link above. Richardson's new ad will feature job creation in New Mexico. Cameron wonders how that "targets" Edwards, who talks about jobs and poverty all the time.

It seems to me Richardson has an excellent selling point pending here: he has actually DONE something about the stuff Edwards only talks about. Combined with Edwards being caught once more neck-deep in hypocrisy as it was revealed that dozens of poor New Orleans residents were foreclosed upon by a company to which Edwards has strong financial ties, Richardson should be able to paint Edwards as a two-faced empty suit with a cute face and great hair.

Because that's all he is.

Richardson looks lost out on the campaign trail. His candadicy is being trumped by Biden. Richardson would be better served by sucking up to Hillary and hoping for another cabinet post.

I think Joe Biden wants to kick Richardson's butt. Then maybe buy him an ice cream cone.
