New York Senator Hillary Clinton won the endorsement of a second large labor union this week, as Sam Youngman reports for The Hill:
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) won her second labor union endorsement of the week, announcing Thursday that the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is backing her bid for the Democratic nomination for president. The IAM, an AFL-CIO union, has more than 700,000 members, and the campaign pointed out in a release Thursday that 450,000 of those members will be in 25 states voting on or before Feb. 5.
Read the whole story at the above link. The IAM also surprised by endorsing former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee for their "members voting in the upcoming Republican primaries." Huckabee was the only Republican who talked with them, and they note about one-third of their members are Republicans, prompting the secondary endorsement.
For Clinton, the endorsement represents another spike in her quest to nail down the nomination. Frontrunners prosper when they can create an "aura of inevitability," because it restrains uncommitted party leaders, activists, and voters from jumping on another bandwagon. Hillary Clinton seems to be well on her way.

Unions like the MSM are a dying breed. They both lie and steal from the people they are charged to represent. A union leader has two ways out, the graveyard or prison.

It would be news if a union didn't support her. The real news is that the craft union members add mightily to her 50% negative ratings. There are blue collar unionists who would no more vote for her than the woman in the moon.
