Hillary Clinton has run into a fundraising situation eerily reminiscent of Johnny Huang and Charlie Trie. You may recall, Huang managed to get dozens of people of ordinary means to donate sums presumably beyond their resources to Bill Clinton's campaign or the DNC, while Trie fled to China to avoid answering any questions about his role. Kim Priestap posted about Norman Hsu yesterday. Now Hillary's campaign announces they will give away some of the questionable money - that directly traced to Hsu. Mike McIntyre and Leslie Eaton report for The New York Times:
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign said yesterday that it would give to charity $23,000 it had received from a prominent Democratic donor, and review thousands of dollars more that he had raised, after learning that the authorities in California had a warrant for his arrest stemming from a 1991 fraud case. The donor, Norman Hsu, has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Democratic candidates since 2003, and was slated to be co-host next month for a Clinton gala featuring the entertainer Quincy Jones.
The event would not have been unusual for Mr. Hsu, a businessman from Hong Kong who moves in circles of power and influence, serving on the board of a university in New York and helping to bankroll Democratic campaigns.
Read it all at the above link. Naturally, the big media will let this story die after the money is laundered out of the campaign - or even before, since you can bet they will not check on it. Apparently all Hillary has to do is say "Oops! Sorry! My bad!" and give up the ill-gotten gain, and all is forgiven.
I bet there are lots of bank robbers serving time right now who would have loved to have that option when they were caught.

This can be stopped. Arrest the recipient as well as the donor. Isn't she aiding and abetting a fugitive?

I demand a Congressional Investigation. I am offended that once more, a leftist Dem has used a minority like Asians, Buddhist Monks, Koreans, Chinese both Communists and other 'entrepreneurs' and then throw them to the wolves. Tsk. Tsk. Will no one stop this useage of minorities by Lefist hypocrites?
