John McCain offered Al Gore congratulations on his Nobel Peace Prize, and a challenge. Marc Santora of the NYT's The Caucus blog reports:
Senator John McCain today offered his congratulations to Al Gore on winning the Nobel Peace Prize. At the same time, though, Mr. McCain issued a challenge to the former vice president.
He asked that Mr. Gore use his stature on the issue of the environment and climate change to support the expansion of the use of nuclear power, which Mr. McCain said would reduce reliance on fossil fuels and harmful carbon emissions.
Read the whole post at the above link. So-called "environmentalists" show their true colors by opposing nuclear power. They aren't interested in the environment so much as in increasing government power (which they expect to wield - all for our benefit, of course).
McCain also noted he now believes in climate change. Heck, I've always believed in climate change - ever since I was a child. One day it was sunny and nice, but then suddenly it started raining.
Made a believer out of me.

Now that momentum it gathering against Climate Change alarmists, we have our formerly resistant politicians jumping on the Alarmist bandwagon.
I guess that's what happens when you chase the middle no matter how screwy the middle is.

Maybe Gore can be pointed at Clinton criminality as his next holy crusade when the Greenhouse collapses around him.
