We all know that Barack Obama is all about change you can xerox. But now it appears that the Clintons are in possession of tax returns from 2006 that you can't xerox:

Clinton spokeshole Howard Wolfson: "Their tax returns since they left the White House will be made available on or around April 15."

April 15? What does April 15 have to do with tax returns for the year 2006? April 15 of this year is the deadline for filing your 2007 tax returns not 2006. It's the 2006 tax returns we want. All it takes is a xerox machine for God's sake. This election is too important to deny the voters critical information about the candidates that they should have in order to make their decisions.

So what are the Clinton's hiding? Many people suspect it is has something to do with the Emir of Dubai, one of our dubious "allies" in the war on terror, who was reportedly paying Bill Clinton $10 million a year for doing nothing. The Telegraph has some of the gory details:

Over the last six years, Mr Clinton has struck lucrative consultancy and advisory contracts with a playboy billionaire and done business with a Gulf emir.

He also courted figures ranging from a Central Asian autocrat to Arab sheikhs, as he built his charitable foundation and financed his glitzy presidential library in Little Rock, Arkansas.

In the process he has developed one of the world's leading philanthropic organisations and made himself and his wife Hillary rich - just six years after they were so saddled in debts from investigations into the Whitewater land deal and Monica Lewinsky affair that they had to borrow money from Democratic fund-raising chief Terry McAuliffe to buy a home near New York.

We also know that Bill Clinton is set to cash out of an "investment fund" to the tune of $20 million here sometime soon. We are all eager to hear what sort of services he provided that were worth the princely sum of $20 million. Inquiring minds want to know.

Bill has also been wheeling and dealing with brutal dictators in Asia:

Last month, The New York Times reported that Mr Clinton flew to Kazakhstan on the executive jet of Frank Giustra, a Canadian mining financier and multi-million dollar backer of the Clinton Foundation who was also seeking a contract with the Kazakh government.

Mr Clinton was there to see the work of his Foundation on an Aids project, but also praised President Nursultan Nazarbayev, who has been widely criticised for human rights violations, for "opening up the social and political life of your country".

Bill Clinton has also failed to name the donors for his presidential library which are rumored to include Saudi Arabia. Just how much money did the Saudis funnel to the Clintons? Your guess is as good as mine.

Hillary needs to come forward with her tax returns and she and Bill need to come clean about their ties to the Emir of Dubai and the Saudis. These questions won't go away and they will just become more intense if she were to somehow steal the Democratic presidential nomination from Barack Obama.

Yes, two can play at this game. It's time for a thorough, and I mean a thorough vetting of Bill and Hillary.
