Venezuela's neo-communist President Hugo Chavez isn't ready for a formal endorsement in the US Presidential election yet, but he knows who he doesn't like, reports Reuters:
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a socialist and fierce U.S. critic, warned on Tuesday that relations with Washington could worsen if Republican candidate John McCain wins this year's presidential election.Chavez said he hopes the United States and Venezuela can work better together when his ideological foe, U.S. President George W. Bush, leaves the White House next year, but he said McCain seemed "warlike."
"Sometimes one says, 'worse than Bush is impossible,' but we don't know," Chavez told foreign correspondents. "McCain also seems to be a man of war."

McCain has criticized Chavez in the past and accused him of being a Castro "wannabee." Hillary hasn't mentioned him in a long time, as far as I can determine, and Obama only promised to gently kiss his buttocks meet with him without preconditions.

I happen to agree with Hugo.
McCain before the LA World Affairs Council today:
"I believe the Americas can and must be the model for a new 21st century relationship between North and South. Ours can be the first completely democratic hemisphere, where trade is free across all borders, where the rule of law and the power of free markets advance the security and prosperity of all."
"...security and prosperity..." (wink!)

Full text below. Also puffs a quasi-Wilsonian "League of Democracies" (New World Order?), an updating of Jimmy Carter's Declaration of Interdependence, and hilariously clueless aping of the failed Truman administration with Russia as the suggested boogieman. Oh! and Kyoto.
The guy obviously figures the Republican voter for drowning men who will hang on mindlessly, or, as I suspect, is servicing the post-national paradigm for a seat on some future governing council of North America. Remember: George Soros funds McCain. It's true. Sorry.

The thought of Barack Obama sitting down at the table with Hugo Chavez is frightening. If Barack can't hold his own against a Fox News anchor, as he demonstrated by allowing himself to be pushed around endlessly over the Wright issue, how is he going to defeat the likes of Hugo Chavez?

Are you referring to Barack's cross-examination by Sergeant Major General Garrett on Fox?

You so-called political intelligente make me wonder what the future of this nation really is when so many of the supposedly educated are so misguided, but then again, MTV & VH1 are thriving, so maybe you're just all secretly part of the same flock. Chavez needs to go, Obama & Hillary are too ridiculous to be able to positively effect any such matters. McCain is the only one with the gumption to step up & let the world know how pernicious Chavez really is.
