As an outsider ie: from Southern Africa...I really do not understand the fuss over this fellow. He appears to be an honest politician as he wants his money upfront where everyone can see him take it instead of the usual backhander that your run of the mill politician indulges in so give the low life a break and leave him be. Problem is, Mr. Wood, you cannot sell a Senate seat (not to say they're not BOUGHT all the time, especially by Democrat party politicians, much like how $1 billion bought the Presidency), only that a single Governor cannot legally sell the office and collect the proceeds for himself.
