Leave it to a minor league hockey team to turn a political scandal into a new form of promotion.
The corruption scandal surrounding Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is being turned into a theme night for the Las Vegas Wranglers.Its going for charity, nothing wrong with that. Now if only the Illinois Governor would come to the event.The hockey club is holding Blagojevich night on Friday, January 30th.
The team will wear vintage prison uniforms, the kind with the stripes.
Their jerseys will feature prison numbers, and a seat between the two benches will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
After the game, those prison uniforms will be signed and auctioned for charity.
Rod Blagojevich prison uniform night against the Victoria Salmon Kings begins at 7:30pm on January 30th.

If I had the wherewithal, I'd buy that seat under the name "Rahm Emanuel" and leave it empty except for a placard. Or, perhaps, a cutout of Obama with sunglasses and a fedora.
